TROT is a documentary-drama inspired by real life encounters in the wild. The story of Sita - a tigress - with her cubs and her struggle for survival against the challenges of a rapidly changing world.
The jungle, her home, where food was abundant and water was plenty is on the outskirts of a National Park. She gives birth to her cubs in a secluded area of the buffer zone. Peace reigns but not for long. Encroachers and hunters were moving in; the forest is being invaded.
The film is part of a larger five year long project - The Return of the Tiger – which aims to inspire and educate the viewers: the policy makers; local communities: politicians; citizens and the youth to take the crucial steps at their individual levels to save the tiger from extinction.
